Moshi Moshi Records is a storied independent record label that has managed to both survive and flourish for over 25 years. Started in the late 90s by three friends it quickly became a well known home for artists making pop music that originated in the left-field but with enough charisma and spark to reach mainstream audiences.

From releasing early records by household names such as Hot Chip, Florence & the Machine, Lykke Li, Bloc Party and Kate Nash, to guiding the careers of current faves Girl Ray, Teleman and Chinese American Bear, the roster dips and swerves with many hidden gems including seminal albums from the likes of Fimber Bravo, The Very Best and Hercules & Love Affair.

Other artists we have worked with include Slow Club, Late of the Pier, Hot Club de Paris, Kindness, Tilly And The Wall, Architecture in Helsinki, Au Revoir Simone, Sweet Baboo, Happyness, The Wave Pictures, Casiokids, Jeffrey Lewis & many more across the main label and the legendary Moshi Moshi Singles Club which started in 2006 as a way of working with artists at the beginning of their careers.

From 2016-2019 Moshi Moshi partnered with Rockfeedback to present By The Sea Festival - a brand new multi-venue music festival in Margate

Our aim was to always work with artists that were doing something a little different and that we felt a genuine connection with - we believe that you can only do your best work with the music that you love.
